Aputure Storm CS32 COMING SOON!
Aputure's intention was to create their brightest-ever full-spectrum point-source light—and the STORM CS32 Tunable Color LED Monolight is the result. With a high output that rivals 4K HMIs, the STORM CS32 delivers 105,300 lux at 9.8' (with a medium reflector and 5600K). At its core lies the Aputure BLAIR-CG light engine that enables highly saturated colors across the visible spectrum and exceptional tunable white light. The STORM CS32 is the key to large-scale productions, filmmakers, and rental houses, while maintaining a compact 15.6 x 14.2 x 13" lamp head design to be operated by a single person. The control box is an addition that also remains compact at 14.8 x 13.6 x 6.3".
BLAIR-CG Light Engine
Aputure's advanced BLAIR-CG light engine combines blue, lime, amber, indigo, red, cyan, and green emitters. With the indigo for natural fluorescence and extended red for richer skin tones, the STORM CS32 covers a wide range of rich colors and natural white light for proper skin tone rendering. Made with high output and light quality in mind, filmmakers and lighting technicians will appreciate its excellent saturated colors and tunable white light. The result is clean, reliable, full-color illumination.
Impressive Color Quality
Set the color temperature across its extremely wide 1800 to 20,000K range. The STORM CS32 also offers green adjustment and HSIC+ and x,y coordinate color tuning for impressive coverage of over 90% of colors within the Rec. 2020 color space. Industry-leading fidelity metrics and high color accuracy ratings ensure the STORM CS32's ability to faithfully reproduce colors. Noteworthy ratings include SSI (P3200) 93 and SSI (CIE D5600) 92. The light also provides advanced green adjustment by +/-G at 100% to conform to the full ASC MITC standard.
Flexible Power & More
When plugged into a household 120V socket, the STORM CS32 will automatically switch itself to the maximum that the circuit can deliver. Switch cables to achieve a higher-powered circuit, which delivers another 25% of light output (4K HMI-equivalent in brightness). To further highlight its flexibility, the STORM CS32 is compatible with all optional XT52 accessories. Speaking of weight, the lamp head weighs 37.5 lb, while the control box will add another 23.8 lb to your lighting kit.
